Biology Club

The Biology Club is designed to bring biology majors together to discuss latest scientific research, attend seminars and create a friendly and welcoming environment to support one another. Meetings will begin discussing campus, major and biology classroom topics. Members are encouraged to provide negative and positive feedback. This club intends to serve as a safe place for students to share ideas about anything going on outside of the classroom as well. In addition, the club intends to bring in lecturers; beginning with internal faculty and advisors to provide an additional avenue of internal communication and eventually people from outside the City College community to inform biology majors about careers, educational paths and how people use the knowledge learned from biology courses once a biology degree is obtained. This club is intended to form relationships and bonds that will carry on through each members life, long after member’s City College student careers end.
