The Department of Student Life and
Leadership Development Presents
The Peer Health and Nutrition Association
As leaders of the next generation, it is important for the City College community to uphold proper academic standards. However, it is equally important for us, as individuals, to maintain a healthy body and mind while studying. The Peer Health and Nutrition Association (PHANA) will be a club of City College students maintaining their health while expanding their intellect. Via club meetings, events, seminars and exercise sessions, we will form bonds and support one another not only physically and mentally, but also academically if needed. Meetings will be centered on themes, such as healthy eating, quick ways to stay in shape and mental health. The mental health meetings will be centered on discussion, rather than activity, and give the members a chance to relax and perhaps de-stress. The Peer Health and Nutrition Association will be a body of individuals striving for academic excellence, while maintaining a healthy mind and body.
