Society of Automotive Engineers

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) at the City College of New York is an undergraduate mechanical engineering club that involves devoted students to the real world engineering environment that promotes and exposes them to rigors of mechanical engineering and collaboration with other engineers to design and build a vehicle. This chapter has been around for the past decade and it has become one of the most productive student organizations on campus. Over the past years, this chapter has participated in very challenging competitions such as Formula One, Baja and Supermileage. With every passing year, the chapter has shown improvement based on their accomplishments during the competition. This is due to the veterans becoming mentors to the inexperienced students and helping them build a stronger and a more competitive generation year by year. We will continue to grow and build upon our knowledge to remain competitive in this years competition. Here are some of the highlights of previous competitions.
