Fiction Club of CCNY

Purpose of club: The Fiction Club of the City College of New York has a dual purpose. It is a graduate student club for people interested in new and emerging fiction. This part of the club has both an educational and a social purpose. As part of this the club sponsors literary readings open to the college campus and public. The second purpose of the club involves its affiliation with Fiction magazine and has a training component. The magazine also serves as a training ground where students are able to learn the nuts and bolts workings of magazine publishing.
