Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that targets the issues of poverty housing by raising awareness, donating, and volunteering. Nearly 2 billion people around the world live in slum housing and over 100 million are homeless. We believe that every man, woman and child should have a safe and affordable place to live. It is our mission to make that happen. As a campus chapter at CCNY, our mission is to help eliminate homelessness from the world by partnering with Habitat-NYC, as well as volunteer with other organizations in NYC to better our community.
