Physicians for Human Rights

Physicians for human rights (PHR) is a national organization of doctors who are united for the common purpose of promoting human rights and decreasing physicians' roles in human rights violations. At CCNY, PHR is unique because it is an organization of medical students and pre medical students who have already united for this goal. At CCNY, we work to educate our community about human rights violations and have discussions about practical ways that we can contribute to the bettering of mankind. We have events such as lunchbag discussions, panel discussions and movie nights to enhance our club's role and to meet our goals.
